Returning
may I go on remembering
Returning to my memories
more courage required
more than I could dream
to sit in silence
to bear witness to the internal screams
the fear of fear itself
woven in story
hope does exist in some kind of surrender
that last word makes this body shiver
a hope to give more than take
to never let the song of life be silenced
writing
a gift to make beauty out of chaos, out of darkness
to lay grief at your feet dear language
for it seems to be the only relief
